These days are tough and new for us all, right? My personal mantra during this time has been MORE GRACE. Grace for myself, and for everyone around me. I’m operating from the mindset that everyone is really doing the best they can. That looks different for us all.
As a small business in the service industry, Team Tailored is learning how to “pivot” in entirely new ways. We’ve all had to, right? What do you hold on to? What comes to the surface when everything falls away and you’re forced to identify the “things that really matter”?
For Team Tailored, it boils down to our four Core Values…….Leadership, Integrity, Empowerment, and Growth…… this is our foundation. Our team chose these words in our very first year of operation, during our infancy stage. We live by these day to day, but when we’re in “crisis mode” we need them more than ever. We find ourselves grateful to cling to these values, and know they will bring us out on the other side of this strange time.
As we plan and discover what the “new normal” will be like as we serve you in this work, we hope you know and trust that every decision that Team Tailored makes is through the lens of these values.
The safety and wellness of our team and our guests is our highest priority. Outside of medical professionals, we are the only professionals with a licensed to TOUCH people. We take that responsibility very seriously. Public health is not just a common phrase to beauty professionals, but something that is our immediate responsibility in our daily work.
Regardless of how individuals feel about the reality we’re all living in, Team Tailored is working to make EVERYONE feel comfortable and confident in our environment when we ARE back to work, serving your beauty needs. We know our services are a luxury, not a necessity. We also know that we all miss the comfort of these services. We want you to experience a calm and relaxing environment when you visit us. With new protocols and precautions we will take when we reopen, your experience will certainly be a new one.
As we work to discover the details of that experience, we wanted to share this lens of Leadership, Integrity, Empowerment, and Growth with you. We ask for patience, as we refuse to lose sight of these values, or rush the process of re-opening once we are able to. We will exceed the safety expectations of the state, for the greater good of our staff, as well as everyone that we serve.
It’s difficult for many reasons to have our business closed during this time. We miss our time together, and our visits with you. As we forge into new territory for our industry, we are committed to leading well, and taking it slow. We couldn’t do it without your continued love and support.
